Shipping & Return Policies

District Station Shipping Policy

Orders must have a $50 minimum in order to quality for the free, D.C. MPD District station delivery offer.

Upon request, each district station will have weekly shipments delivered to the specified station address chosen per order. Deliveries to district stations may occur more often than once but is arbitrary and is not guaranteed. Typical district deliveries occur at the beginning of every week (Mon-Tues). We will send you a notification when the package arrives at the district.

After we deliver the packages to the district station as per customer instructions  we are no longer responsible for the package.

Returns Policy

Please use the Contact Us form to request returns or exchanges. 

All requests for returns or exchanges must be made in writing using the Contact Us page. Please read the terms below carefully before sending us your request 

Approved Returns:

Store / online credit will be issued for approved, in stock, standard / generic products, which are returned in original condition after receiving a return authorization in writing via email. Products ordered for in-store pick-up but never picked up by customer and do not fall under the category of non-returnable / non-refundable items will be handled in the same manner as approved returns.

Exchanges for products are governed by the same terms throughout this page. Exchanges will be handled as ab authorized return for store / online credit and the new / substitute item(s) will be be handled as a new and separate order. This allows you an additional 14 days as described herein but also creates new shipping costs that do not attach to the original order.

 

Non-returnable / non-refundable items:

Customized products except for the case of a manufacturers defect, (to be verfied by the manfacturer), electrical items, altered items, special order items. In such a case where a manufacturer's defect is determined, a new item will be sent as a replacement or a warranty repair will be made according to the policy of the manufacturer. Customized products include any item with a specific badge shape cut, engraving, custom printing, personalized items, as well as any item manufactured under a "special order" condition. 
You may return most new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery for in-store/online store credit. We'll pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error, (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.), and only after determining the situation and notifying you with return instructions. Shipping costs are not refundable nor is credit issued for shipping costs if the reason for the return is determined to be of no fault of copgear.com and/or Washington Police Supply. Shipping costs may also include our freight costs from the manufacturer depending on the location of the item at the time of order.

You should expect to receive your store credit within 3 business days of your product being received by copgear.com and checked for being in new/resale condition, and being notified by copgear.com.

Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to all international destinations. Shipping, packaging and insurance costs are estimated by the dollar amount of the order  On rare occasions  such as overweight or oversized packages, the customer will be notified if additional shipping charges are required
